For many companies it is not economically viable to employ a full-time Export Manager to manage their brands and bulk sales. And that’s where we can help. At The Spirits & Whisky Company, our role is to assist companies that do not currently have these resources in place. By working with you in close partnership, we can help facilitate your exports and service your export markets. By working with us, you can maximise your capabilities and costs across a number of different spirit sectors.
All orders can be placed through us, and we will do the all the heavy lifting, checking your orders, verifying them, and then and passing them on to the distillery to be fulfilled. We will ensure you have the correct invoices and paperwork from the distillery, or if there is an existing commercial link, The Spirits & Whisky Company can invoice direct, with no additional fees.
We ship whisky in bulk, either in full ISO tanks or in IBC’s
If selecting IBC containers, please be advised that the minimum order is 10 x IBC.
Value – 95% grain & 5% Malt
Standard – 85% Grain & 15% Malt
Premium – 75% Grain & 25% Malt
Super Premium – 67% Grain & 33% Malt
Are ISO tanks too large? We have the ability to ship in IBC’s (10,000 litres) which is a full 20ft container of blended whisky. Or an option for malt whisky (minimum three palets) which can be shipped in IBC’s for bottling in Scotland. Also available, Sherry Cask Whisky or Double Cask Finish, three years upwards, for example 18, 21, or 25 year old whisky for bottling.
For shipping in bulk to countries outside the UK, it is a requirement to be approved by HMRC. However, this does mean you can take advantage of reduced costs in relation to logistics as well as enjoying the practicalities of being able to bottle own-brands, branded in the country of destination.
