What is Blended Scotch Whisky?
A blended whisky is made by expertly blending two or more types of whisky. Usually this is malt whisky and grain whisky. Malt whisky is distilled from malted barley in traditional copper pot stills providing greater control over the product – even the shape and size of the stills, influences the texture and flavour. Malt whisky offers a more complex and richer tasting experience.
Grain whisky on the other hand, is distilled from grains such as wheat and is much lighter and smoother. The goal of blending is to finish up with a balance of flavours and aromas that highlight the character of the malt, while smoothing it out for a more drinkable and accessible product. The skill is in the blend and the consistency of the finished product which is a great art.

Sourced and supplied by the Spirits & Whisky Company, Glen Feshie blended scotch takes its namesake from a rugged Scottish Glen – a sporting estate in the south-west corner of Cairngorms National Park. Glenfeshie is a dramatic and enchanting landscape full of the wonder of ancient Scotland. The historic Caledonian pine forest is thought to be the largest natural remaining forest of its kind since the ice sheets melted in the last ice-age over 10,000 years ago.
Sparkling rivers run through ancestral heritage woodlands. This is a magical land where wild eagles soar free above the mountains. Stags, grouse and wildcats stalk the surrounding lochs. The lochs and the mountain-massif of Glenfeshie is the most extensive and wildest of its kind in Britain. It’s the setting for the famous painting by Landseer, The Monarch of the Glen, which features a stag framed by the crags above the valley. It is a beautifully iconic place, made even more familiar by Highland and Scotch whisky.

Taste Profile
Turkish delight, fresh, fruity, juicy finish, full body, with a citrus sweetness. Fruity, a good balance of flavours including a bit of peat which is well integrated.
Pot Still Distillation Influence
The malt portion of this skilful blend is distilled in traditional copper pot stills, which produces a heavier, oilier spirit with richer mouthfeel compared to the lighter, cleaner grain whisky from column stills. The malt content adds fullness and a rounded finish which is highly desirable for whisky drinkers seeking complexity.

Taste Profile
Bright gold with a gentle amber hue, showing good clarity. An elegant Speyside single malt that showcases bourbon-cask maturation at its best: light, fruity, and smooth, with natural texture and balance.
Bourbon Cask
Glen Feshie has rested and aged quietly in American oak bourbon barrels for at least three years. The casks have only ever aged one distillation of bourbon, which allows the flavours to come through as well as the oak having retained a lot of the tannins.
Single Malt Scotch
Glen Feshie is a single malt Scotch whisky. This means it is made entirely from malted barley at a single distillery. This allows its unique Speyside character to shine. Whisky drinkers enjoy its smooth and approachable palate and at 40% ABV it carries a pleasing texture thanks to its natural presentation.
